Tutkimuksen tuloksia arvioitaessa on huo- mattava aineiston koostuvan vain seitsemän yrittäjän kirjoituksista, vaikkakin näiden taus- tat, ammatit ja toimialat olivat monipuolisia ja työurat sisälsivät yrittäjyyden ohella myös palk- katyötä. Kirjoittajat ovat joka tapauksessa vali- koituneita jo siksi, että he ovat vastanneet kir- joituskutsuun. Myös kirjoituspyyntöteksti on epäilemättä ohjannut kirjoituksia, vaikka pyyntö laadittiin mahdollisimman erilaisia tekstejä ja tulkintoja sallivaksi. Laajemmat kvantitatiivi- set ja syvemmät laadulliset jatkotutkimukset aiheesta ovat tarpeen taustoittamaan työpoliit- tisia toimia.
